TIRA GmbH is a leading supplier of vibration test equipment. With over 50 years of experience they are now providing equipment to over 60 countries of the world. Tira’s product line is the largest in the industry, with shaker sizes from 2 force pounds to 55,000 force pounds and some models can provide up to four inches (4”) of displacement. Tira and innovator in the industry developed the first and only ceramic armature shaker. The table is flat to 25,000 Hz. They also manufacture a line of accessories that include slip tables, bearing tables head expanders and fixtures. For over 20 years TIRA private label products that were sold in the U.S. and in 2002 TIRA began to bring the their products and name to North America. They now have over 35 installations under the TIRA name throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Vibration Research has been providing user-friendly hardware and software packages for vibration control for 15 years. The Vibration Research team brings together experience in vibration testing, hardware and software development, and a strong desire to take vibration testing to a new level. Vibration Research has been innovative from the delivery of its first vibration control system and has reliably been producing new testing capabilities and software enhancements.
Mr. Cmar – has over 25 years of experience in the Environmental Test Industry. Starting with Blue M he serviced Southern New England. He became Regional Sales Manger at Cincinnati Sub-Zero and was responsible for Sales and Service in the Northeast. He implemented a service team and was responsible for project management with in his territory. In 2000, Mr. Cmar joined Ling Electronics as their Eastern Regional Sales Manager. He was responsible for sales of 50 lbf systems to 45000 lbf systems. He founded TD Test Specialists in 2004 and currently represents TIRA, Vibration Research and Hanse Environmental. Geoff has been an active member of the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST). He has held leadership rolls in the local chapter as well as at the national level. Mr. Cmar has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA.
George G. Olear II -
Mr. Olear has over 30 years of experience in the field of Environmental Testing. He began his career at Texas Instruments at the Materials and Controls Group where he ran the Environmental Lab. He has tested automotive parts such as air bag sensors, pressure switches and low g accelerometers used in active suspension systems. On the military side he has tested aircraft circuit breakers, thermostats used on satellites and hermetic switches. From there he moved on to Contech Research where he was responsible for running the vibration lab, doing failure analysis, frequency response analysis, and developing test programs. He was also responsible for the expansion of the lab as well as servicing the equipment. Mr. Olear is a past president of the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Boston Chapter. He has written and taught courses on Vibration Testing, Climatics Testing, and Connector Testing. George has a B.S. in Chemistry from Worcester Polytecnic Institute and an MBA from Providence College.
